The bikes of TDT-Unibet will be hard to miss in the peloton
The latest team to reveal its 2024 livery is TDT-Unibet with their custom-painted Cannondale Supersix Evos. This comes after EF-Education EasyPost announced their team bikes last week, assumingly safe in the knowledge that they have the most vibrant bikes in the peloton. Well it appears there is a challenger to this title giving EF a run for their money.
An eye-catching pink-and-blue colour scheme will be showcased by TDT-Unibet in their first campaign as a UCI ProTeam, with the Dutch squad also using bikes supplied by Cannondale.
Devin van der Wiel, one of the team's founders had this to say about the new livery: "With last season's yellow and pink rocket, we made a smashing entrance into the cycling world. The design made many tongues wag and was immediately a classic."
“Also this year - as befits us - we paid a lot of attention to developing a colourful bike with a strong identity. I'm incredibly happy with this splashy design and it fits perfectly with the vision and core values of both Tour de Tietema and Cannondale."

The design is indicative of the teams character with loud and fun graphics in front an equally loud colour scheme
The team will be racing the SuperSix Evo frames built up with Shimano Dura-ace Di2 and Scope wheels. An interesting inclusion for the team's equipment choice is to use Garmin Rally pedals rather than Shimano’s own in built crank-based power meter. The cockpit is a one-piece affair from Cannondale's own partnership with Momo offering an aerodynamic flight deck at the front of the bike.
Jonathan Geran, Global Director Sports Marketing at Cannondale said: “After last season’s big success, we are very proud to continue our partnership with TDT-Unibet. Tour de Tietema is one of the most entertaining projects in pro cycling and they are taking a huge step by becoming a UCI ProTeam, an incredible development.”
Tour de Tietema was formed in 2019 by Tietema, Van der Wiel and Josse Wester, with the YouTube channel originally documenting the trio's outings at the Tour de France, including wheelies up mountains and handing out food and drink to the peloton.

In 2023, Tour de Tietema launched their first professional cycling team, with the squad racing as a UCI Continental outfit and lighting up many races with their unique style. For 2024, they make the step up to the UCI ProTour with a bigger and better racing schedule to boot. The team are very proud of the fact they will be the first team on ProTour level with their own name as a primary identity.
