Joshua Tarling lines up as a key favourite for the individual time trial at the UEC European Championships
The UEC European Championships begins with the individual time trials for the men and women on Wednesday in Drenthe, Netherlands.
With the UCI World Championships occupying the calendar date that is normally reserved for the continental championships, the European titles serve as the last chance for Europe's best to take home 2023 titles.
Headliners include defending champion Marlen Reusser, road world champion Lotte Kopecky and Riejanne Markus for the women, while the men will see Joshua Tarling face Wout van Aert, Stefan Küng and Mikkel Bjerg. We have full previews for both the men and the women on the site, just click the links below to read on.
GCN+ will be streaming the full championships and you can find the start times located below. With the championship running in the Netherlands, all start times are in accordance with Central European Time. Remember, that is one hour ahead of the UK and six ahead of the East Coast in the United States!
