This week we’re issuing a warning. You know your love of cycling has gone too far when…

We’ve been trawling kickstarter for the best and the worst innovations, plus you have the best news stories from the world of cycling.

This week also saw an amusing if slightly tragic story hit the headlines here in the UK as it emerged that a police officer was forced to resign after he was busted for being on a cycling holiday in Mallorca while at the same time claiming that a chronic back injury was keeping him off work.

Note to self, Strava can lead to incriminating evidence. But at least he’s probably got some mega form now. KOM central!

I think he deleted his account. Modern technology does make bunking off work to ride a problem. If you don’t Strava and you don’t instagram is there any point riding?

It’s a very good point. I can barely remember my ride from Sunday.

Anyway, it got us thinking though, at what point does your love of cycling actually go too far, and maybe you need a healthy dose of reality?
