The purpose of this helmet is for increased cooling/ventilation. Something vital for long, tough, hot climbs/conditions. Having a very well vented helmet normally decreases the aerodynamics. However, the testing results gave a promising outcome in the wind tunnel testing that was conducted at the The Kask Valegro has 5mm fast-wicking quick-dry pads that transfers sweat from a riders head and with optimised ventilation and advanced material combined with a new moudling technology the weight of the helmet is down to an incredible 180g. Nothing is sacrificed though as the helmet is still designed, manufactured and tested to the highest safety criteria.
