Ex-Professional Cyclist and Olympian Lucy Martin knows a thing or two about cycling and she visited the Canyon HQ in Koblenz, Germany to learn all about their women's bikes.

There is no doubt about it, men and women are different. Canyon took a huge data set and ran an analysis of this data to come to a conclusion. The frame geometry came from this research and one of the results is that the torso and arm angle remains the same across all sizes in the range.

Smaller wheel sizes have been introduced to the range too, the 3XS & 2XS frame sizes feature 650b sized wheels. This allows a smaller cyclist to have better and more precise steering and handling of the bike.

Frames have also had weight shaved off them by up to 50g whilst retaining the same stiffness to weight ratio, how? by using smaller diameter tubes, also improving aerodynamics!
