The GCN presenters explain how to use facial and body expressions to really fool your cycling friends into thinking you are at the point of exhaustion.

The poker face can easily be trained and the results can be oh so rewarding! With our tips you can start dropping the rest whilst secretly you are suffering.

Masters of the poker face in the pro peloton include Miguel Indurain, Nairo Quintana, Alejandro Valverde, Laurent Jalabert as well as the British twins Simon and Adam Yates.

In contrast there are riders who play on the reverse "Poker Face". The modern day master of this is Thomas Voeckler. As soon as he leaves the team bus the face is on and the grimace game begins.
