It's important to prepare correctly for a multi stage/day event so that you can get through it easier, and faster!

Key components for it include:
Get fit - The fitter you are, the easier the outcome.
Train on successive days - When done correctly, it's a fantastic way of getting fit.

Split Days - This is great if you are short of time. You can train in the morning and afternoon/evening. This can help train your body for riding with fatigue, something you will encounter as a result of riding on multiple days.

Train Through Events - Training the day after an event or race is a great way of teaching your body to cope with fatigue. Why not train the day before an event too, making it a three day training block.

Recovery - After all the hard training, you will need make sure you recover correctly. A powermeter and/or heart-rate monitor are really beneficial to make sure you're actually recovering correctly. Nutrition is vital here too, ensure your body is being replenished with all the vitamins and minerals that are being expended.

Don't Worry! As daunting or scary as it may seem, you will be fine. Just make sure you prepare and be positive.
