Zwift release further details ahead of inaugural Zwift Games
Dates of both the community and elite competitions have now been announced

Indoor training platform Zwift has announced further details ahead of the Zwift Games. The competition is open to all abilities with a community series joining the elite competition.
Zwifters of any ability are able to take part in the five-stage series with in-game registration now live and online registration opening Monday 26 February. The series will comprise of five separate stages that will run in order between 1 March and 17 March with make-up events for each stage available between 18 March and 31 March.
Those who complete the whole series will be eligible for the Zwift Games general classification. Participants are able to try and improve on their previous best times by completing any stage multiple times within the competition window. Overall positions for the Zwift Games can be tracked using Zwift Power.
The Games are not only an opportunity to test yourself against the competition, with four new routes on offer as part of the event series it could be the perfect opportunity to explore more of Watopia.
Loop de Loop
Loop de Loop, will be used for the first sprint stage. Starting in downtown Watopia, the race will be 24.9km with 289m of climbing, and will feature two ascents of the Zwift KOM.

Jurassic Coast
Used for the second sprint stage, Jurassic Coast starts in the Fuego Flats start pens, and then winds its way through Titans Grove to Watopia’s Southern Coast, covering 19.5km with 212m of climbing.

Zwift Games 2024 - Epic
For stage 3, the Epic Stage, racers in categories A and B will take on a brand new Epic course designed to test the endurance of all those who tackle it. Starting in downtown Watopia, the Epic route is 81.6km long with 878m of climbing and takes in much of Watopia along the way, finishing atop the KOM.

Glasgow Crit Circuit
The fourth stage uses one of the pre-existing routes available to ride. The circuit based on the 2023 UCI Road World Championships course in Glasgow features a series of punchy rises that are sure to make pacing difficult.

Mountain Mash
For the fifth and final stage of the Zwift Games, categories C and D will take on a brand new climbing route in Watopia, Mountain Mash. The race starts in the Jungle Pens and immediately heads up the Epic KOM reverse. This route may be a mere 5.9km long but with 335m of climbing and little warm-up, this route promises to get the heart pumping.

Wahoo heads up partner brands for the Zwift Games
Wahoo will be a title sponsor of the event with exclusive and unique gold-painted Wahoo Kickr Bikes awarded to both the overall Zwift Games Champions.
Fresh off the release of its new Tempi 3-Stripes BOA shoes, Adidas will also be on board as a partner for the Games with the newly released shoes available as a Zwift unlock for anyone who completes a stage of the Zwift Games community race series.

Elite Zwift Games
Along with the community event comes the elite race series. Here the world's best virtual racers take to the start to battle head-to-head to be crowned as a Zwift Games champion. The elite racing will be separated into three disciplines: Sprint, Epic and Climb.
Zwift will be offering its biggest-ever prize purse for the eventual winners of each of the events. The best-ranked male and female competitors across the combined disciplines will be crowned Wahoo Overall Champions.
For those looking to keep up to date with the elite racing, the schedule has been announced:
- Sprint Championship - Men: 2 March / Women: 3 March
- Epic Championship - Men: 9 March / Women: 10 March
- Climb Championship - Men: 16 March / Women: 17 March
