Pinarello unveils new winter apparel collection

Pinarello have announced they they will be offering a collection of winter riding apparel. The winter collection is made entirely in Italy and is said to "meet male and female riders’ diverse requirements throughout the winter months, with a focus on reduced weight, high breathability and exceptional versatility."

The Dogma jacket and jersey both feature M-Brain and TC fabrics to keep the rider warm and dry

The Dogma jacket and jersey incorporates Pinarello’s own water repellant M-Brain and TC fabrics as well as being treated with a special DWR water repellent coating. The Dogma thermal jersey also features "compact, technical and highly breathable fleece lining," aimed at keeping riders comfortable on those cold winter rides.

M-Brain fabric is a three layer material that has been coated with a DWR hydro-repellent, it is said to offer "total protection from rain and wind while also guaranteeing excellent thermoregulation, with a soft inner lining for complete comfort."

Joining the winter collection are the Dogma bib shorts that also feature the TC fabric along with a D-Throne four layer pad

Joining the Dogma winter jacket and thermal jersey are the Dogma thermal bib shorts that also feature the DWR water repellent treatment, and are made with TC fabric just like the other garments. Finishing off the bib shorts is Pinarello’s own "D-Throne 4-layer pad" that is manufactured from a microfiber fabric that has antibacterial and hydrophilic qualities, which Pinarello claim ensures maximum comfort and functionality.

The TC fabric that Pinarello use in both their Jerseys and bib shorts is said to be highly breathable with excellent thermal properties. Unlike a lot of more traditional winter clothing options, its also highly elastic, and fits snugly to the body, creating a more aerodynamic fit and boosting the thermal protection.

Finishing off the winter collection are a range of accessories, including long and short sleeve base layers, thermal arm and leg warmers, a neck warmer, beanie, winter gloves, and toe covers.
