The new design swaps red for a fiery orange

Pinarello has unveiled the design for Ineos Grenadiers’ 2024 Dogma F, which features a revamped colourway to match the team’s new kit and some marginal gains to go alongside it.

The team recently unveiled their 2024 kit and a new supplier in the form of GOBIK, but it didn’t come as much of a surprise after Egan Bernal accidentally posted images online ahead of the launch. There were no leaks this time around with the bike, although the new design won’t come as too much of a surprise either as it closely resembles the kit.

That means a switch from the red and navy design used in 2023 to a new fiery orange and black livery for 2024.

“It’s always exciting to launch new frame designs before the start of each season and this year is no different, especially as it marks our 15th anniversary partnering with the team,” Pinarello owner, Fausto Pinarello, said in a press release.

“When we received the new livery, we immediately set to work on creating a paint scheme which blended seamlessly with the team’s on-bike clothing, but also provided a performance boost.”

Ineos Grenadiers are known for their pursuit of marginal gains and that has even extended to their bike’s design this year, with the new pattern leading to some weight savings. While the 2023 bike was predominantly red across the top, down and head tube, 2024’s orange shades are restricted to only the frontal area of the bike, with the black livery covering the rest. This, according to Pinarello, saves 16g on a 53cm frame. It’s a tiny amount but in a world where races can be won by the width of a tyre, every little helps.

“The return of black to the palette means we’ve been able to reduce the amount of paint we use on the frames, with only the lightest coat being applied to our black T1100 1K carbon, which brings with it weight (and watt)-saving benefits,” Pinarello explained.

Beyond the new colourway, the Dogma F remains the same with its now-familiar and unique silhouette. It's the bike Ineos Grenadiers have used, albeit in different iterations, since first linking up with Pinarello in 2010. That partnership is heading into its 15th consecutive season in 2024 and will continue until the end of 2025 at the least, when the current partnership runs out.

There will be new components on the 2024 bike in the form of Prologo saddles after the team made the switch from Fizik, bringing to an end their 12-year partnership with the Italian brand.
