On Sunday, Egan Bernal posted and then deleted an image on Instagram that showed off Ineos Grenadiers' potential 2024 jersey.
Attending an event in Mallorca, Spain, the former Tour de France and Giro d'Italia winner shared an Instagram story that showed a new-looking Ineos Grenadiers jersey next to his Pinarello race bike.
Surprisingly, the new jersey had a GOBIK logo on the left side, suggesting that the British team would no longer wear Bioracer clothing.
Bioracer became the kit supplier for Ineos Grenadiers at the start of 2022 after replacing Castelli. Previous kit suppliers to the British team – previously known as Team Sky – also include Rapha and Adidas.
GCN has reached out to Ineos Grenadiers and Bioracer for comment.
The GOBIK kit looks visibly similar to the 2023 jerseys worn by the team, with a predominately red base that fades to dark blue on the right hand side.
GOBIK is the current kit supplier for Movistar. According to a report in Wielerflits, GOBIK will announce their partnership with Ineos Grenadiers on January 1, 2024.
