Tour Down Under 2018 | Stage 6 Report

The 6th and final stage was set to be a fast one - a 90km circuit race around the streets of Adelaide with points, placings and pride all at stake.

Logan Owen of EF-Drapac, Truls Korsaeth of Astana and Laurent Didier made the early move, although the latter two made way for their teammates Luis Leon Sanchez and Ruben Guerreiro to take some bonus seconds at the first intermediate sprint.

Ben O'Connor joined Owen up front but the peloton was hungry for a sprint - Ewan, Sagan, Greipel and Viviani were ready - or could there be yet another different winner in the 2018 Santos Tour Down Under?
