Greg LeMond: LeMond makes your list for his battle back from nearly dying in a hunting accident, even winning two more Tours de France with 35 shotgun pellets in his body.

Alfonsina Strada: The only female rider to compete in a grand tour, Strada not only started the 1924 Giro D'Italia, but she managed to finish the whole race!

Johan Musseuw: When his crash in the Arenberg forest nearly caused his leg to need amputation, Museeuw's career looked to be finished. But two years after his horror crash, Museeuw won Paris Roubaix with a 44km solo attack.

Geraint Thomas: When Thomas broke his pelvis in a crash on the 1st stage of the 2013 Tour de France, he not only finished the stage, but he somehow managed to finish the whole Tour!

Beryl Burton: Without a doubt, Burton is one of the greatest British cyclists of all time. Arguably Burton's most incredible achievement was breaking the men's 12 hour time trial record!
