The first of this years grand tours starts this Friday in Jerusalem, the 101st Giro d'Italia. Here are our top 10 riders we think you should keep an eye on over the next few weeks.

Chris Froome -
Having won both the other grand tours, Froome has now set his sights on completing the triple. He's not ridden the race since 2010 but solid recent form in the Tour of the Alps suggests he's looking strong.

Tom Dumoulin -
Winning the 100th edition of the Giro was no mean feat for Dumoulin and he capped off his 2017 with gold medals in both TT disciplines at the world championships. He could be a force to be reckoned with at this years Giro with his incredible power both in the time trials and up the climbs. Can he pull it off again?
