The new S-Works Tarmac features a different build for frame size to cope with the unique stresses and strains the different sizes of frames have. There's also a neatly hidden seat post bolt in the top tube!
Urán rides a 52cm frame with Sram Red 22 groupset throughout, though uses an S Works FACT 170mm carbon crankset with 53 x 39 chainrings. Urán uses a long cage rear mech to cope with the bigger cassettes which will be used later on in the Giro. The seatpost is a carbon Zipp SL speed, with a Specialized chicane saddle on top.
Stem and bars are a 12cm Zipp service course SL stem, with 42cm Zipp SL handlebars and a SRAM quickview powermeter mount.
Wheels are Zipp 404s front and rear, finished with Specialized turbo tyres. The bike is finished with carbon Tacx bottle cages and carbon Look Keo Blade pedals.
Specialized have also made Rigoberto Urán a unique custom painted S-Works Tarmac with a Colombian feel, featuring the yellow, blue and red of the Colombian flag. We love this custom paint job!
