The Axeon team, managed by Axel Merckx, has a close relationship with SRAM, and was instrumental in its development of the wireless eTap drivetrain. That relationship means the team also rides ZIpp wheels — in this case, the 404 Firestrike tubular wheelset — as well as Zipp Service Course SL handlebar and stem, and a 53-39 Quarq power crank. At the USA Pro Challenge, Oram used an 11-28 cassette. Other highlights include Selle Italia saddle, Speedplay pedals, Specialized tires, and Tacx water bottle cages.
