Marcel Kittel got his 2017 season underway in a winning manner at the Dubai Tour. And, significantly, he's winning on disc brakes, making him one of the first riders to be doing so.
His custom painted Specialized Venge ViAS disc bike combines aerodynamics and presumably significantly more powerful braking. He rides Specialized's in house brand Roval for the wheels, a Specialized seat and runs Shimano throughout the bike including levers, brakes, chainset, cassette and Dura Ace Di2 front mech and rear derailleur.
