How To Change Your Brake Pads Or Brake Blocks

Replacing your brake pads on your road bike is not a particularly difficult task, but is key to ensuring that you are safe on the road. Follow GCN on YouTube: Changing your brake blocks is a pretty simple task. To know if they need changing, simply look at the grooves in the pads, which are wear indicators. If there are no grooves, they need changing! It's also worth changing your pads if you're doing a long ride with lots of descents - in bad weather you can get through a set in a day.
