Stage 1 of the Dubai Tour took the riders 173km to the coastal town of Fujairah.

Big names made the startlist for this race, including Mark Cavendish, Bradley Wiggins, Fabian Cancellara and Mercel Kittel. Plenty of interest for the sprinters this week, and today represented an early opportunity to test the legs. Who'd come out on top and take the blue leader's jersey?
