In the meantime, she took us through her team-issue Wilier Cento1SR. There are a lot of female-specific frames out there, but the women's team at UnitedHealthCare use exactly the same frames as their male counterparts. Components are full Shimano Dura-Ace, although the team chooses the mechanical version for their road bikes. Alexis runs a 50-34 compact chainset with 170mm cranks, along with an 11-25 cassette. The 'cockpit' comes from Deda, with an aluminuim bar and stem combo. She runs a Selle San Marco Aspide saddle and rolls on Maxxis Re-Fuge 25mm tyres. Buy GCN Cycling Kit!
