Stephen Williams
The lithe-limbed Welshman has long been touted as a future star of professional cycling, joining Bahrain-Merida for his debut professional season, where we can expect to see the best from him in the toughest mountain stages. Transferring from development squad SEG Racing Academy, where he won a stage of the ‘Baby Giro’ and a day in the maglia rosa, Williams is certain to find himself a great education at the service of Vincenzo Nibali - a rider with a talent for climbing he has long looked up to.

Remco Evenepoel
Given the hype surrounding the Belgian rider, it feels there is little left to be said or suggested of his talents. Of his 56 one day and stage races in 2018, he recorded 36 victories (including GC), producing a win rate of 64%. Unsurprisingly, he chose to join the Belgian dream team of Deceuninck - Quick Step for 2019, However, the team have announced his programme shall be light, with approximately 50 race days and no debut at the Flandrian cobbled races yet.

Pfeiffer Georgi
Long since being earmarked as a rising star, British rider Pfeiffer Georgi joins one of the most successful teams in women’s cycling, Dutch squad Team Sunweb. With palmares on track and road, it was during 2018 that Georgi garnered attention while riding alongside some of the world’s strongest riders, finding herself as leader of the mountain’s classification at the Tour de Yorkshire. With ambitions featuring world and Olympic road race titles in the future, there is little shying away from the fact her talent looks capable of delivering such success.
