Even the most experienced cyclist can still be guilty of making silly little mistakes when out on our bikes. The classic, out the door, onto the pedals, pushing hard and within a few minutes your heart rate is pounding away and you’re gasping for breath. What you could do instead is to really limit how hard you try in those first few minutes and build slowly from there. Maybe set a timer for 10 minutes and at that point, you can start going a little harder, you’ll have a much better ride, we guarantee it! Not letting anybody know where you are going When you’re out on the road it is always a good idea to let others know where you are going and when you might be back. There are many live tracking apps available these days and it can really help you out if the worst should happen. There's loads more on our list of mistakes.
