SRAM and Shimano groupsets now dominate the peloton with the departure of Campagnolo from the WorldTour

Keeping 2024 racing kit under wraps is an almost impossible task, and Bora-Hansgrohe are the latest team to suffer the inevitable leak with regards to their new racing equipment.

A social media post on X - formerly known as Twitter - shows a Bora-Hansgrohe racing bike equipped with SRAM rather than Shimano. The German team has used Shimano as their supplier of groupsets for a number of years, while Specialized has provided bikes and wheels.

On Saturday a photo emerged showing one of the team's Specialized S-Works Tarmac SL8 bikes fitted with SRAM. The team has been contacted for comment but has not yet responded.

The riders are currently enjoying a training camp in Spain before the Christmas break. They will return for another camp in January before kicking off their season at the Tour Down Under where Sam Welsford will lead the line on his WorldTour debut for the squad.
