SRAM and Shimano groupsets now dominate the peloton with the departure of Campagnolo from the WorldTour
Keeping 2024 racing kit under wraps is an almost impossible task, and Bora-Hansgrohe are the latest team to suffer the inevitable leak with regards to their new racing equipment.
A social media post on X - formerly known as Twitter - shows a Bora-Hansgrohe racing bike equipped with SRAM rather than Shimano. The German team has used Shimano as their supplier of groupsets for a number of years, while Specialized has provided bikes and wheels.
On Saturday a photo emerged showing one of the team's Specialized S-Works Tarmac SL8 bikes fitted with SRAM. The team has been contacted for comment but has not yet responded.
