GCN Tech Show: This is why cycling is the most beautiful sport

Canyon’s new Grail, your thoughts on cycling aesthetics, and Zara dip their toe into cycling

Clock16:30, Thursday 8th June 2023

We sent the bat signal out to our tech aficionados on the GCN App to gather everybody’s thoughts on what actually makes cycling a beautiful sport, resulting in hundreds of comments from our users. Following the overwhelming response to our Question Of The Week, the discussion became the main topic of this week’s GCN Tech Show in which Ollie and Alex sat down to add their thoughts to the conversation.

Be it the revolutionary bikes, the daring kit or the jaw-dropping scenery, there is so much to love about cycling and in this week’s episode, Ollie and Alex try to decide what the single most aesthetically pleasing thing is in our sport. Remember, you can still join the conversation on the GCN App.

Elsewhere, the pair bring you all the latest news on three new bikes, a supposed ‘magic water bottle’, and a cycling range from high street fashion retailer, Zara. Eagle-eyed Alex was particularly intrigued by an unreleased Canyon Grail that was spotted at Unbound Gravel recently!
