After discovering lightweight bikes from Look, Swi and Stoll at Eurobike within hours of arriving, GCN’s Ollie Bridgewood was on a mission to uncover all the most exciting bits of new tech at this year’s show in Frankfurt, Germany.
In our second instalment of the hottest tech from the biggest bike show in the world, Park Tool showcases their seemingly endless batch of new tools designed to meet our every need, with kits tailored specifically for Shimano and SRAM setups. It isn’t long before we put Ollie on a brand new indoor training setup called Rolla, which boasts exquisite graphics and the ability to merge indoor and outdoor workouts - handy for triathletes who fancy a break from the elements!
A man well at home amongst the latest technology the cycling world has to offer, Ollie could not be stopped at Eurobike and gives us a close look at Thule’s new premium car bike rack, the Trigon AR made from industry-leading carbon fibre, and BMC’s new prototype time trial bike that has been the talk of the industry.
Back in the studio, Alex Paton and Conor Dunne have their own hot tech to discuss - not least the new 3T x Lamborghini gravel bike - with Alex also reporting from the ground at Global Bike Festival in Austria. Of course, it wouldn’t be the GCN Tech Show without Comments of the Week and Bike Vault, with this week’s added bonus of Conor freestyling our first jingle.
Be sure to check out this week’s episode for all this and more on the GCN Tech Show.
