Alexandra Manly

Alex Manly is a road and track rider who has strong sprint, but also surprisingly impressive climbing abilities given her background in the velodrome. The 27-year-old races for Liv AlUla Jayco alongside her Australian track teammate Georgia Baker, and has quickly become one of their key riders.

After riding for the Mitchelton-Scott team straight out of juniors in 2015 until the end of 2019, Manly took a step away from road racing in 2020 to focus on the track and the Tokyo Olympics, where her Australian team pursuit team missed out on a medal. In 2022, she made a return to BikeExchange-Jayco and road racing, and had a stand-out year, dominating the Internationale LOTTO Thüringen Ladies Tour, taking fourth overall at the Women’s Tour, and claiming her first WorldTour victory on stage 4 of the Tour of Scandinavia.

Manly had another strong season in 2023, adding a home victory to her palmarès with a stage win at the Tour Down Under before taking silver in the Madison at the 2023 Track World Championships alongside Baker. She is contracted with Liv AlUla Jayco until the end of 2024.
