UAE Team Emirates' new kit for 2024

UAE Team Emirates revealed their new team kit for 2024 on Saturday morning, ushering in some slight changes but retaining the white colourway used since they picked up the bones of the Lampre-Merida outfit in 2017.

The kit for 2024 will be manufactured by Italian brand Pissei for the second season running, having taken over the responsibility from Gobik ahead of 2023. It was Champion System who supplied the team with their trademark white kits between 2017 and 2020, but Pissei will continue to be sported in the WorldTour peloton by the likes of Tadej Pogačar, Adam Yates and Juan Ayuso next year.

"Pure white, pure speed" is the phrase used by the team to describe the new kit, and they will surely be hoping it continues to bring them success at the top level.

Ditching the black sleeves that were introduced in 2021, UAE Team Emirates have gone back to a jersey that is white for the most part, harkening back to the kit worn by Pogačar when he made his Grand Tour breakthrough at the 2019 Vuelta a España.

The all-white look also means that Pogačar, who aged out of the young rider category this year, will still be sporting something similar to the Tour de France white jersey he has claimed ownership over for the last few years.

The red band that adorns the front of the jersey and houses the 'Emirates' half of the team logo has been trimmed, now not stretching across the whole chest of a rider. Instead, artistic flourishes are found in brand-new red, green and black stripes that sit at the base of the front of the jersey, matching the colours of the United Arab Emirates flag.

These sparks of colour stand out amongst the fairly sponsor-laden jersey that continues in the team's tradition of being a white colourway. This has been the case ever since the UAE Team Emirates outfit was birthed in 2017, and the usual black shorts remain. Continuing on from 2023, the team will be strapped into silver helmets in 2024, which are supplied by MET.

UAE Team Emirates will be proud to sport a dash of gold on the front of the jersey, in the form of the badge indicating their status as the UCI Best WorldTeam in 2023, which was sealed with a number of impressive rides in the Italian Classics by Pogačar, Davide Formolo and Marc Hirschi.

Virtual riding platform Whoosh is no longer front and centre on the jersey, however, with Colnago instead taking the place between the team name and ADNOC (Abu Dhabi National Oil Company). Elsewhere, the sponsorship slots remain the same, other than the introduction of Presight on each shoulder, a data analytics company who also sponsor stages of the men's and women's UAE Tours.
