Jonas Vingegaard (Jumbo-Visma) sent shivers through the peloton after an almost faultless performance at the Critérium du Dauphine and with the Tour de France just a few weeks away the defending champion looks unstoppable.
Vingegaard won two mountain stages and finished second on two other days of racing before closing out the overall win by a margin of 2:23 over Adam Yates (UAE Team Emirates).
With the Dane's main Tour rival Tadej Pogačar (UAE Team Emirates) still recovering from injury and fighting to reach his best form it looks as though Vingegaard is head and shoulders above the opposition. There's still plenty of time before the Grand Depart, and almost anything can happen at the world's biggest bike race, but on the latest edition of the GCN Racing News Show our very own Dan Lloyd looks back at the Dauphiné, while also picking out the highlights from around the racing world.
There's a recap from the best of the action from the MTB World Series, Dwars door het Hageland, and the latest news from the Tour Féminin des Pyrénées.
While the Dauphiné is in the books there's still the matter of the Tour de Suisse going on. We take a look back at the first stage.
