Can an amateur on a $10,000 bike beat GCN on the Eurobike?
We challenge James 'Hank' Lowsley-Williams to beat a weekend warrior riding a Canyon Aeroad

The Volkswagen Beetle, the Morris Marina, the Austin Allegro... the list of forfeit cars that were on offer in BBC's Top Gear were legendary, pitting its presenters in some of the world's worst vehicles for the task. But at GCN, we think we have them beat.
That's right, if you didn't know about it already, let us introduce you to the Eurobike. Selling for a little over £200, this imitation of a race bike weighs in at 16.9kg and if James 'Hank' Lowsley-Williams is to be believed, has the "most uncomfortable saddle known to man." With Hank's glowing recommendation offered up, we thought it was about time we challenged him to ride it once again!

We want to know what makes a fast cyclist; is it the bike or the rider? To put this to the test, we are pitting Hank - on his Eurobike - against a 'weekend warrior' riding a superbike. The pair would dual it out over a 9.5km course around the quaint English village of Acton Turville.
Simon Lewis is a keen cyclist who commutes to work twice a week on his bike but is otherwise limited to getting out on the weekend when the sun shines. Aboard a Canyon Aeroad that costs the price of a small car, would this former professional darts player be able to catch Hank with a minute deficit? Tune into our latest challenge to find out!
