While out at the Taipei Bike Show Ollie got to take a look at one of the most bling bikes of all time, the limited edition $40,000 Pedemonte Rhinoceros!

This very special Pedemonte Rhinoceros is one of only 5 models in the world, created for the Homo Faber exhibition in Venice. This exhibition showed off the best hand made products from European craftspeople, so Pedemonte really wanted to bring the absolute best bike possible for the show.

The first thing you notice about the Pedemonte Rhinoceros is the stunning gold leaf work throughout the bike, particularly on the seat tube. If you look closely at the fork legs the gold leaf design continues there as well.

The super luxury theme continues onto the handlebars and saddle. Both are covered in leather from Poltrona Frau, a really really high end Italian furniture maker.

One of our favourite touches on the bike is the integrated lights, particularly the subtle LED rear lights built into the seat post.
