Right, first up this week is the news that French brand Look are launching their first E-bike, the E-756 Optimum. We all know that E MTB’s are big news, we have a channel dedicated to them after all, and E-road bikes are really increasing in popularity.
Hang on, is that Bernard Hinault on that bike?
Yes, Hinault 5x winner of the Tour De France he used one of Look’s original bikes made from carbon. And the E-756 Optimum is a full carbon affair and has been designed so that the rear stays have more flex in them allowing for increased comfort and also traction.
The motor system comes german brand Fazua and gives an assisted speed of up to 25km/h. There are 3 modes, including a rocket mode which is 400watt hours.
