The UCI are often given a hard time by cyclists and bike racers alike for focussing on details like sock height, and shying away from the tougher issues in the sport. However, after a recent press release suggested they'd be taking steps to improve rider safety, we have a feeling they may be about to outlaw that infamous top tube pedalling position - among other things!
