The Specialized Tarmac frameset was revamped in 2014, making bold claims about the unique way in which the frame was designed and constructed. Each size uses almost entirely different tube diameters and thicknesses, giving a feel appropriate to the size of the bike.
Nibali rides a custom painted, but stock framed Tarmac, shod with a top of the range Campagnolo Super Record RS groupset, including standard 53-39 chainrings and a wide ranging 11-27 cassette as standard.
Other notable features include the very cool looking Corima carbon wheels and FSA finishing kit, including carbon handlebars.
