Stage Six, the final stage of the Tour of Oman for 2013 saw Chris Froome of Team Sky on the verge of victory - all his teammates needed to do was ensure that he kept his lead over Alberto Contador.
The peloton seemed very relaxed, and allowed a group of three riders, Katyusha's Gatis Smukulis, Vacansoleil's Wesley Kreder, and Bardiani Valvole-CSF Inox's Andrea di Corrado to get a long way away. Fortunately the pace picked up and the group were caught just before the inevitable sprint finish at the end.
