Stage four. Hot and with a brutal climb at the end, this wasn't going to be a day for the sprinters. Even breakaway king Bobbie Traksel wasn't going to attack.
Five riders from BMC, Katusha, Champion Systems, Netapp Endura and Radioshack did break though but were caught with 7km to the end. In the end the usual suspects duked it out to change the overall GC significantly - see below.
