These days, most professional cycling teams have at least a nutritionist and a dedicated chef on their staff to help deal with the extraordinary dietary demands of the riders during a Grand Tour.

GCN's Tom Last spoke to Hannah Grant of Team Saxo-Tinkoff on how the riders' meals are prepared, from sourcing ingredients to dietary requirements and adaptations depending on the nature of the stage or even the weather conditions.

Hannah also explains how she became head chef for a cycling team in the first place.
