The Tour of Qatar is pan flat and one for sprinters who can handle crosswinds while the Tour of Oman is one for the climbers.
Riders to watch in Qatar are generally sprinters or classics riders. We're expecting to see Tom Boonen and Heinrich Haussler amongst those battling for the win.
With the steep climb to the summit finish at Green Mountain, the Tour of Oman is one for the climbers and general classification riders. Grand Tour favourites are beginning to use the Tour of Oman as part of their preparation. Joaquim Rodriguez, Chris Froome and Rigoberto Uran are amongst the riders to watch.
