The One That Got Away | Heartbreak For Alan Marangoni At The Giro D'Italia

GCN Italia's Alan Marangoni was a professional cyclist for almost a decade. Spending the bulk of his career sacrificing his chances of success for team leaders such as Peter Sagan and Ryder Hesjedal, Alan went almost his entire career without taking a win. But, at the 2015 Giro D'Italia, Alan saw an opportunity to bag himself his first pro victory. On stage 10 into Forlì, Alan found himself up the road with 4 other Italian riders all prepared to fight for the stage win. In this translated video, Alan is joined by his breakaway companions from that fateful day to share a play by play breakdown of the Giro stage that Alan almost won - the one that got away.
