Watching the pros descend puts your heart in your mouth. Carving corners at speeds well over 100kph on 25mm tyres is not for the faint hearted. But what's the maximum speed you can actually reach on a road bike going down hill? The answer isn't as simple as you might think so Conor did some science to find out what is the fastest speed you can reach on a road bike.
