This week we have plenty of road racing with the Tour de Suisse finishing and the big sprinters facing off in the Ster ZLM Toer to name two. Off road, the downhill and cross country world cups visited Italy. Plus, your weekly tech update.

This week GCN hit 50,000 subscribers. We promised something cool, so go here: http://a.pgtb.me/CF2KVv to enter a competition to win a Paul Smith designed Giro red jersey, signed by Mark Cavendish.
Back to the news and the fight for the win at the Tour de Suisse went down to the final stage. The Ster ZLM Toer in Holland played host to a sprint showdown, with Mark Cavendish, Andre Greipel, Theo Bos and Marcel Kittel facing off. Orica-GreenEdge had a successful Tour of Slovenia, and Thomas Voeckler showed that he's coming into form for the Tour de France, taking the win at the Route du Sud. On the women's side of the sport, Evelyn Stevens took the win at the Giro del Trentino.
Off road, the UCI World Cup circuit hit Val di Sole in Italy for the first joint cross country and downhill round of the season. The downhill result read like a repeat of the Fort William round, with the Athertons dominating. The mens cross country was a battle between perennial rivals Nino Schurter and Julien Absalon, with Tanja Zakelj repeating in the womens race.
Off the bike, we have more news on the upcoming UCI Presidential elections, and our friends over at VeloNews have featured Bianchi's 2014 road range, which incorporates SRAM's new hydraulic disc brakes.
