Romain Bardet of Ag2r was the leading French finisher at the 2013 Tour de France, placing 15th overall. We took a look at his brand new time trial bike.
The Focus may fit within the UCI regulations, but, at the same time, it stretches them as far as possible.
Bardet's rig is equipped with Campagnolo Record mechanical throught. He chooses a 54 tooth chainring and 11-23 cassette. There are nods to aerodynamics throughout his component choice, with Campagnolo's aerodynamic Bora Ultra chainset and Look Keo Blade Aero pedals.
