One of our favourite races took place over the weekend. The Strade Bianche takes place over the gravel roads of Tuscany, and our very own Daniel Lloyd had a pretty great result there one year...

Anyway, it's great to see the race include a women's edition, which US rider Megan Guarnier won, with 3-time cyclocross world champion Zdenek Stybar laying down a marker with victory in the men's race.

Are there any one day races that won't be on Stybar's radar this year? We sincerely doubt it.

Paris-Nice kicked off with a short prologue won by Michal Kwiatkowski. We're really interested to see how he does over the week.

The CIRC report was released on Monday. Away from the provocative headlines, we can only hope that it's good news; cycling is a sport that isn't afraid to self-evaluate, admit failings and move on in a positive manner.

Anyway, we teamed up with them to go for a MTB ride in Wales and, if this video hits 10k likes, Dan will be out with them again. 20k likes and Dan gets to keep his bar ends. Let's all do Dan a favour and aim for a maximum of 19,999 likes.
