Katie Compton took the Cyclocross World Cup win in Rome and secured the World Cup overall with one round remaining. Niels Albert won the men's race from Lars van der Haar and Sven Nys, who was riding his first World Cup for his new Crelan-AA Drink team.
Kenny de Ketele and Jasper de Buyst are in the driving seat at the Rotterdam Six Day with one night of racing remaining.
The Mitchelton Bay Criteriums have kicked off the Australian road season, with the build-up to the Australian Road Nationals and Tour Down Under beginning in earnest. Caleb Ewan and Matt Goss were amongst the winners in the men's event, with Brenton Jones taking the overall victory. Giorgia Bronzini dominated the women's series, winning three out of the four rounds, with only Chloe Hosking breaking the Wiggle-Honda rider's winning streak.
