How To Service Jockey Wheels

Jockey wheels often get overlooked when it comes to maintaining your bike, but fortunately they're quick and easy to service.

Smooth running jockey wheels can save you a handful of watts and make your gears work better. The process for servicing them is simply a case of removing, cleaning and re-greasing them.

Just remember which jockey wheel goes where - the parts are rarely interchangeable, so it might be worth servicing them one at a time to avoid confusion.
