The Tour de France may have ended a week ago, but the professional cycling season is still going strong.
The Tour of Poland kicked off in Italy of all places. It even looked like a Tour de France repeat with Christophe Riblon taking another summit victory after his Tour win on the Alpe d'Huez, this time on the Passo Pordoi.
The Clasica San Sebastian in Spain saw many Tour de France stars to the fore, but in the end it was a surprise victory for Tony Gallopin of RadioShack-Leopard.
There was more news from the increasingly murky late nineties, with the French Senate Report into doping at the 1998 Tour de France.
On a lighter note, the details behind Ryder Hesjedal's divisive sunglasses and the first images of the accompanying helmet range have been released, and last, but not least, we have Tweet of the Week.
