Nothing screams hot more than a pair of simplistic looking white shoes. World Road Race Champion Alejandro Valverde has been using Fizik shoes for a couple of seasons now and the folks at Fizik have decided to produce him some pairs of the Infinito R1 in a special white colourway with finishing details of the world champ rainbow as well as El Bala World Champion on them too. Sadly as far as we know they won't be released for sale.

This week we are discussing how to pick the optimum equipment for your chosen event, discipline, race or challenge. Ollie's set himself a lofty goal and that is to ride up Sa Calobra, in Majorca in under 30 minutes which equates to an average speed of 19-20kph. It’s something he has been trying to do for years and he feels it represents the limits of what he can do physically. Stay tuned for Ollie's Sa Colobra challenge...
