UCI Women's WorldTeam
Ceratizit-WNT are a long-running team - now in their 10th year - but are brand new arrivals to the Women's WorldTour, having been promoted for 2024 as one of the two best-performing Continental teams.
Now a German-registered squad, Ceratizit-WNT actually started out as a small British outfit, founded in 2014. They raced primarily domestically for their first three seasons, but made the step up to UCI Continental level in 2017, starting out with a largely British team. From there, the team diversified into a much more international outfit, changing to a German licence, attracting some bigger sponsors, and signing riders like Lisa Brennauer and Kirsten Wild.
Since their transformation, the team has grown into one of the strongest Continental teams in the peloton, often topping the list of best-ranked non-WorldTour teams, and this year that has earned them a spot amongst the 15 WorldTour teams after just missing out in 2022.
Ceratizit have signed just one new rider for 2024 - Marta Jaskulska - and will continue to rely on their proven winners, like Marta Lach, Tour de France Femmes best young rider Cédrine Kerbaol, and the Fidanza sisters, as well as upcoming talents Mylène de Zoete and Nina Berton. They took 11 wins in 2023, and will look to build on that in their first WorldTour season.
