Evita Muzic

Évita Muzic is FDJ-SUEZ’s purest climber and one of their big French hopes. The 24-year-old has been riding for the French team since 2018, her first year as a senior rider, but had her breakout result in 2020 when she took victory on one of the hardest stages on the Giro Donne. She is also a former French national champion, winning the elite road race in 2021.

In 2022, Muzic climbed to eighth overall at the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift, behind her teammate Cecilie Uttrup Ludwig in seventh and one of two French riders in the top 10. In 2023, she started to show her one-day racing abilities, taking fifth at Flèche Wallonne. She had a quiet Grand Tour campaign, finishing 17th at the Giro and dropping out of the Tour, but came back with a fifth at the Tour de l'Ardèche, and she'll be hoping to continue to show off her climbing strength in 2024.

Up against the likes of Uttrup Ludwig and Marta Cavalli for GC and climbing leadership at FDJ-SUEZ, it may take time before Muzic is a number-one rider at the biggest races, but she is certainly one of the biggest stage racing talents coming out of France at the moment.
