Charlotte Kool

Charlotte Kool (dsm-firmenich PostNL) is one of the peloton's best sprinters and a rider who is challenging Lorena Wiebes' claim as an unbeatable sprinter. After cutting her teeth - and taking some big results - for NXTG Racing (now AG Insurance-Soudal Quick-Step), she moved to dsm-firmenich for 2022 where she became the final rider in their highly successful lead-out train, helping Wiebes to countless victories.

Since 2023, though, it has been Kool who is the designated sprinter after Wiebes’ transfer to SD Worx. Kool proved her mettle by beating Wiebes in their very first head-to-head battle in 2023, and the two went up against each other all season, with Wiebes collecting more wins but Kool never far behind.

Kool benefits from the precisely drilled dsm-firmenich PostNL lead-out and an impressive turn of speed, but like many sprinters, has not been shy about her hopes to develop and challenge in the harder one-day races, too.
