Jasper Philipsen

Jasper Philipsen rides for the Alpecin-Deceuninck team and has established himself as one of the fastest sprinters in the men’s WorldTour.

The Belgian turned professional with UAE Team Emirates in 2019, taking his first pro win with a stage victory at the Tour Down Under that year. He joined Alpecin two years later and in 2022 won two stages at the Tour de France. Philipsen is also a three time stage winner at the Vuelta a España.

Philipsen's career took another major step forward in 2023 when he won four stages at the Tour de France and the green jersey. He finished the season with 19 wins in total.

In 2024, the Belgian will be placed at the very top of the sprinting hierarchy, and will be looking to add even more wins, particularly at the Tour, to his tally.
